HELLBILLY - HYBRID NPN GERMANIUM DRIVE/FUZZ

Hellbilly™ bridges the gap between a classic Rangemaster and the classic fuzz face. NPN NOS germanium transistor, graded & tone selected along with metal film resistors-Mylar caps, and high voltage electros. The unique tone section goes from boosted bottom fully counter-clockwise, the electro is kicked on at this point, tone on half and full clockwise bleeds in some high end. An added silicon transistor stabilizes the germs voltage and bumps the gain a bit. Not quite fuzz, but a more rounded nasty Hellbilly Thang with the dynamics and response of a germ trannie.
