WEM RUSH PEP BOX - OFFICIAL REISSUE

The official WEM Pep Box reissue is an updated version of the original fuzz box from 1966. It uses two BC109 silicon transistors and is a versatile fuzz giving a medium gain 'garage' fuzz output. Its circuit is hand wired using the PTP point-to-point method and features carbon composition resistors, high-grade film capacitors, true bypass switching and is powered by a PP3 9 volt alkaline battery. John Lennon was famously pictured using one during the recording of The Beatles album 'Revolver' in 1966. Unlike most fuzz pedals, which sometimes completely saturate your guitars signal, the Pep Box will give you a great silicon fuzz tone, but still keeping the clarity of your guitars tone. Like the original from 1966, the Pep box comes with 4ft of hard-wired output cable fitted with a 1/4" jack to plug straight into your amplifier.
