What do you get when you gut a Sovtek Big Muff and make it better? A Hairpie, of course. I take a Sovtek Big Muff (green or black), replace 90% of the parts, and make it into a louder, ruder distortion. It loses the sputter and graininess and becomes smoother, thicker, and louder. Play on the neck pickup for a great lead tone! Outwardly there's no indication of anything different, but you'll know the difference when you play through it.
