This Pedals By Tone Boost was created in response we received asking for a simple, transparent clean boost. The PBT BOOSTER is a single class A, gain stage based with a single mosfet transistor. Depending on the device used, maximum gain should be about 35dB and minimum +/~3 dB. The frequency response of the PBT BOOSTER is flat and extends down low enough for both bass and guitar use. This is, indeed, a very transparent pedal with a ton of available boost. You can give a nice push to the front end of your tube amp with this stompbox.
