THE SHERIFF

Based on the classic Dallas Rangemaster treble boost circuit, the Sheriff uses a specially selected single NOS AC128 Germanium transistor and high quality metal film resistors to keep that characteristic rangemaster background hiss to a minimum. Vintage correct, a subtle circuit this is not - it takes your guitar sound, boosts the treble frequencies, and snarls it up a hair - giving a beautiful creamy overdriven sound - perfect for blues. Sounds amazing through a Marshall or other darker 'British' sounding amp.
