MAD MAN OVERDRIVE

Madman overdrive generates its own distortion tones and also provides enough gain to overdrive a typical amplifier input stage. The drive control adjusts the amount of distortion created in the pedal. The level control is adjustable from zero to providing gain for overdriving the input stage of the amplifier. The tone control acts as an active EQ, not just cutting high frequencies, but also boosting them. The Madman is available in standard or deluxe versions. The deluxe version adds two push buttons. One lowers the frequency contour of the tone knob, making it perfect for musicians who tune down. The other adds touch control for a wider range of distortion depending on picking intensity.
