DALLAS BOOST STRANGEMASTER

This is our hand-wired re-make of the Dallas Rangemaster . It doesn't offer the less trebley sounds of some of the remakes - just the original Germanium Treble Boost that did the job for Clapton and May. We use NPN transistors in these so there is no conflict with other pedals on your board. This one uses a big, made in America, germanium, NOS transistor with resistors selected to bias the transistor voltage where it should be. It is a great, bright, slightly dirty, treble boost. I was testing it with the volume from 3 O’Clock to wide open and it sounds great with my strat. This is a must-have for me on my boards and for many others.
