HS-1 HORNBY-SKEWES BOOSTER

HS-1 and HS-2 emerald are both the same Hornby-Skewes booster based on the Ritchie Blackmore sound. When it comes to effects shrouded in mystery, this one is near the top of the list. ALL of the schematics you see for it are wrong (and there are a bunch out there). I have spent the better part of 6 months collaborating with people in California and England who owned originals, and I have it dialed in. I have also added several new options (different drive and tonal options). The HS-1 is the "Smoke on the Water" tone, and cleans up REALLY well with your guitar volume.
