CT-4000 CHROMATIC AUTO TUNER

The Coron CT-4000 Chromatic Auto Tuner is a pedal-format tuner designed for guitar and bass, offering automatic pitch detection with mute functionality for silent tuning. Produced in Korea during the early 1980s, it was also marketed under other brand names such as Excel, Hawk, and Spheres (with identical EP-12 model numbering) and as AQT-25 under the Aria brand. The pedal features a fully chromatic tuning range, accommodating all standard instrument tunings. Its design incorporates a large LED display that indicates both pitch accuracy and detected note, with separate flat, in-tune, and sharp indicators. The CT-4000 provides quick onstage reference through red push buttons for power and calibration, allowing users to adjust reference pitch. The tuner operates through a standard input/output configuration, supporting both guitar and bass signals, and includes a mute switch that silences the output when tuning.
