This classic pedal coupled with a tasty modification entitled the “Creamy Dreamer Mod” was - as legend would have it - what inspired Billy Corgan and supplied that luscious Smashing Pumpkins distortion in his masterful “Siamese Dream” album. Other “big” Big Muff proponents have included David Gilmour, Kurt Cobain, and Jack White of the White Stripes; all of whom have made the “Muff “ an integral part of their sound.
