Pretty much everyone's heard at this point about how Jeff Beck's tone is "in his fingers". That fact still hasn't stopped rabid fans and tone junkies like myself from attempting to cop some of his legendary sound with the aid of a little hardware. Whether it's scavenging Ebay to score that vintage LM308-based Proco Rat (classic 80s/90s Beck), or laying out the bigger bucks for a Klon Centaur (Beck at Ronnie Scott's and beyond), it seems this guitarist's guitarist sets a standard for what are perceived as dirt boxes of distinction.
